GovernmentAV Integration for Government Conference & Training Rooms in Los Angeles
The Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) is a United States federal law enforcement agency under the supervision of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS). According to the DHS, the Air Marshal Service is responsible for “promoting confidence in civil aviation by effectively deploying Federal air marshals to detect, deter, and defeat hostile acts targeting transportation systems.”
For their Los Angeles facility, FAMS needed a new AV system that could be used for meetings, training sessions, and more, and because they are a government agency, it all needed to be secure. Fluid Sound was able to give the FAMS facility the high-quality secure AV system they needed to help complete their important work.

Challenge
The Federal Air Marshal Service asked Fluid Sound to design and install an AV system with six independent zones (conference room, training room, and personnel offices). The system would need to support presentations, as well as secure video conferencing. All audio video control would need to be done through secure, wireless touch screens.
Solution
LG and NEC commercial displays and JBL loudspeakers were used throughout the facility. A Crestron QuickMedia remote control system was installed for secure control of all of the AV systems.
