The Air Conditioned Supper Club is a new 3,700-square-foot nightclub in Venice Beach with an atmosphere that has a feel that’s more like a cozy neighborhood lounge than an exclusive nightclub. It has a stage for live music, a lounge area, a bar, and private dining booths. While the club is comfortable and inviting, it still has an upscale feel that makes patrons feel like they’ve stepped into a special venue .

Like any good nightclub, the Supper Club in Venice needed a great sound system. The Fluid Sound team designed and installed a high-performance sound system that can accommodate music coming from a DJ or live performers, and also blends in with the club’s décor.

Challenge
The owners of the Air Conditioned Supper Club in Venice Beach requested a sound system design that would serve dual roles, for both live music and high-energy nightclub purposes. The building itself presented some acoustical challenges, with its pie-shaped setup, smooth ceiling, and structural beams that divided up the space.
Solution
Fluid Sound helped improve the venue’s acoustics by having an acoustically absorptive finish on the back walls and the DJ area. For sound equipment, we installed an EAW MK loudspeaker and SBX subwoofers, Crown CTs amplifiers, BSS Soundweb London digital audio sound processors, and a Mackie Onyx Mixer.
