Challenge
The Sheraton Hotel needed to meet their guest’s expectations that a meeting hosted at the hotel could support both on-premise and off-site meeting participants. In a hybrid world, collaboration technology needs to accommodate both in-room and remote audiences.
A video conference solution was needed to be designed so that meetings could operate within the Zoom Room platform and also allow a user to bring their own device loaded with their preferred conferencing solution (BYOD).
Solution
Fluid Sound designed & installed hybrid meeting systems featuring built-in Zoom Room systems allowing users to join a meeting by simply typing in a meeting code. Also installed are are 85-inch Samsung Flip screen displays that can also be used as a digital whiteboard.
Shure digital array ceiling microphones along with a Biamp audio processor were used to accommodate the acoustically challenging room dynamics which transports all audio digitally over a Dante network.
In an upscale hotel environment, the hybrid meeting room technology must adhere to aesthetic standards, accommodate diverse users and allow for ease of use by the end user
