Rubicon Project is an industry-leading technology company that automates the buying and selling of advertising. Relentless in its efforts toward innovation, Rubicon Project has engineered one of the largest real-time cloud and Big Data computing systems in the world, processing trillions of transactions each month. The company’s pioneering technology has created a new model for the advertising industry—not unlike what NASDAQ did for the stock trading industry. Rubicon Project is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: RUBI).
As a forward-thinking company, Rubicon Project needed a facility that reflected that image. Fluid Sound was able to help the company upgrade their entire AV system, including the video conferencing system in their conference room and the presentation system in their all-hands meeting area.

Challenge
The C-level officers at Rubicon Project approached Fluid Sound to redesign their entire audio video system in their facility and engineer a solution that would bridge video conferencing functionalities with their existing VOIP phone network. They were also looking to use meeting room scheduling panels that could interface with Microsoft Outlook, and distribute meeting presentation capabilities for internal use and shareholder earnings calls.
Solution
For their video conferencing needs, we used the Vidyo video conferencing and business collaboration suite, as well as Polycom multi-element ceiling microphones with SIP and VOIP integration. Sony laser video projectors and Screen Innovation ambient light rejecting projections screens, as well as Tannoy wide-range in-ceiling loudspeakers were installed in the all-hands meeting room. A Crestron audio video control system with room scheduling touch screens was installed for easy management of the various AV systems.
