RQ Construction is a privately held design-build General Contracting firm headquartered in Carlsbad, California. Established in 1996, RQ has developed a reputation of providing quality design and construction services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Fluid Sound has worked with RQ in the past where they acted as the General Contractor on various projects, which helped them know who to come to when it was time to build out the AV systems in their new headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.
When it came time for RQ Construction to relocate their corporate headquarters into a new facility, they contacted Fluid Sound to design and install a new audiovisual solution for their conference rooms, meeting rooms, huddle rooms and war rooms. The team at Fluid Sound designed and installed an AV system for the entire facility that included a video conferencing system, audio video presentation, and control systems.

Challenge
RQ Construction wanted custom audio video conferencing solutions for 30 various sized conference rooms, all hands room, meeting rooms, huddle rooms and war rooms all with unique and specific audiovisual requirements.
Solution
Fluid Sound used BSS digital signal processors to allow for room combining in the larger training rooms and USB connectivity of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) type laptops that allow Microsoft Teams meetings to run in the smaller meeting & huddle rooms spaces. VoIP phone dialing is also integrated into the Crestron control system.
Each of the 30 various conference rooms systems were integrated with Microsoft Teams. Scheduling panels were used throughout the facility for all the meeting & huddle rooms to provide room availability notifications.
Video conference room systems for corporate headquarters’ huddle rooms, meeting rooms, and board rooms.
