Microsoft Teams Interoperability with PolyCom Video Conferencing

Their in-depth knowledge of non-opioid pain management, coupled with their passion for delivering improved patient care, drives their commitment to providing solutions that address unmet medical needs and improve clinical results.
Pacira recently constructed a brand new, ground-up building on their campus in San Diego, CA. They wanted to focus heavily on integrating AV into their meeting, huddle, and board rooms to allow for more effective team collaboration. Their new conference rooms were outfitted with top-of-the-line microphones, control panels, and video equipment that allows for better day-to-day productivity.
Pacira’s IT department was looking to integrate Microsoft Teams with Polycom’s RealConnect Interoperability cloud-based solution, which would allow new and existing video conferencing systems to join Microsoft Teams meetings. They also needed the design and installation of a multi-conference room system with room combining functionality.
Pacira opted for Polycom real presence group video conferencing systems with Barco ClickShare wireless presentation devices. Shure MXA-710 Linear Array digital ceiling microphones were run on a Dante AV network with Biamp digital signal processors to allow for room combining and acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) for natural sounding voice reproduction with a high level of speech intelligibility for the video conferences. NEC 98” 4k Ultra HD commercial LED displays were added for a high-end video experience.
A Crestron control system with touch panels and room occupancy sensors were used to intelligently and automatically turn on/off the AV system once the training room is occupied or once the meeting is over and the participants have left the room.
