The Hyatt Regency Long Beach hosts many events—from intimate executive meetings to large gatherings of all types in their 35,000 square feet of event space. When they were remodeling the space, they also wanted to upgrade the area’s AV and control systems. Fluid Sound installed new audio conferencing systems in the various meeting rooms, as well as an upgraded public address system, meeting room presentation systems, digital signage, and a custom-programmed control system to manage it all.

Challenge
The upscale hotel required many upgrades to the AV systems in their meeting and event spaces, including room combining control and control of the existing Siemens HVAC BACnet building management system and the Lutron Grafik Eye lighting control system.
Solution
Fluid Sound installed a Crestron remote control system with custom Crestron programming that would allow hotel staff to easily control all of the various systems in the meeting and event spaces.
