Facility: Phil’s BBQ Restaurant
Location: Temecula, California
Challenge: The Owners at Phil’s BBQ wanted an Audio Visual system that aligns with their other locations so that user-adoption is familiar through their control interfaces. They also wanted a large jumbotron that stands as the centerpiece to the bar, where customers have that “WOW” reaction when they walk through the doors.
Solution: The solution to this was to create a blueprint for the Audio Visual system that mirrors their additional locations, while keeping cost and user-ability at the forefront.
Fluid Sound installed a Crestron-backed Audio Video control system with iPad control integration. “Just-Add-Power” AV over IP video transmitters and receivers were used to route the DirecTV receivers to the commercial-grade NEC displays. A breathtaking jumbotron was custom designed with multiple NEC displays, so that wherever you are in the restaurant, you have a great view of the game.
The audio system consists of BSS Digital Audio Signal Processors with Crown Audio Digital Amplifiers and JBL loudspeakers utilizing blulink digital audio bus to keep both the distribution of audio & video in the digital realm and managed over the private AV network. The end-user is able to manage all systems from a wireless Apple iPad or hard-wired Crestron touch panel.
For digital signage, a scrolling sports ticker LED sign was installed that displays real-time information of what is happening in the sports world.
