How It Works
This wireless presentation platform allows people to use their personal devices in meeting rooms by sharing content directly to the display. The platform essentially serves as a replacement for an HDMI cable, while also enabling many other “touchless” features in the meeting room.
Motion sensors are also added to the room to automatically power up and turn on the displays, projectors and other AV system components.
The final component and key to the “touchless” conference room is the control system programming, this custom programming allows all components in the system to be controlled and respond to the end users specific needs for a successful meeting.
It’s your first day back in the office post-COVID19 and you have a board meeting. Upon entering the conference room, the display automatically turns on, knowing that you’re present in the room. You’re able to confirm that you are in the correct conference room by seeing the display showing the meeting name, organizer, and time slot. The other meeting participants are also arriving, either in person (maintaining 6-feet apart for social distancing regulations) or remotely trough Microsoft Teams® or Zoom Rooms™ conferencing software. With a couple clicks on your personal device, your presentation is instantly shared to the group.
This is all possible by sharing content directly from your personal device, meaning there’s no touching of cables, remotes, screens, etc. – touchless collaborative meeting.
Wireless Presentation from YOUR Device
With the wireless presentation platform, your meeting participants can share with just a couple clicks of their own device. Sharing works with Windows®, Mac®, iOS®, Android™, and Chrome OS™ devices. Information to connect to the display is shared right on the screen. Just enter the presentation room code and begin sharing.
Working alongside Room Automation
You don’t need to sacrifice room automation for wireless presentation. This platform can be configured with the system to include all other room devices such as display timers, power on/off, motion sensors, etc. Having the ability to conduct touchless video conferences will give your organization peace of mind heading back into the office.
